PENGARUH POSTER TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN KARANG TARUNA TENTANG PERTOLONGAN KORBAN HENTI JANTUNG
Abstract
Henti jantung (Cardiac Arrest) merupakan keadaan dimana hilangnya fungsi jantung untuk memompa darah yang terjadi secara mendadak. CPR Fact and Statistic - American Heart Association menyebutkan bahwa 75% pasien henti jantung terjadi di rumah atau Out-of Hospital Cardiac Arrest (OHCA) dan 95% pasien henti jantung meninggal sebelum sampai di rumah sakit. Pernyataan berdasarkan Guidelines AHA 2015 mengenai diperbolehkannya masyarakat awam untuk melakukan tindakan resusitasi jantung paru membuka peluang untuk menekan angka kematian pasien akibat henti jantung terutama memanfaatkan pemuda karang taruna melalui edukasi dengan menggunakan media poster.
Jenis penelitian adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian pre-post test design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah pemuda karang taruna desa ujung karang yang berjumlah 28 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel consequtive sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuisioner berisi pertanyaan tentang pengetahuan dan SOP pertolongan pertama pada korban henti jantung. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji wilcoxon. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15-19 Oktober 2018. Didapatkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pengetahuan pertolongan pertama pada korban henti jantung responden sebelum dilakukan intervensi adalah 3.57 dengan standar deviasi 0.69. Rata-rata nilai pengetahuan setelah dilakukan intervensi adalah 6.57 dengan standar deviasi 0.87, rata-rata keterampilan pertolongan pertama pada korban henti jantung responden sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 2.46 dengan standar deviasi 0.637, rata-rata keterampilan setelah intervensi adalah 6.35 dengan standar deviasi 0.558. Hasil analisis bivariat menujukkan ada pengaruh media poster tentang pertolongan pertama pada korban henti jantung terhadap pengetahun (p : 0.000) dan keterampilan (p : 0.000) karang taruna di Ujung Karang Bengkulu tengah.
