TOPIKAL PANDANUS CONOIDEUS MENYEMBUHKAN LUKA DIABETES : LAPORAN KASUS

Tanaman obat telah dilaporkan untuk mempercepat aktivitas penyembuhan luka dan bermanfaat dalam pengobatan model luka. Penggunaan topikal Pandanus conoideus memberikan pengaruh untuk penyembuhan luka gangren yang merupakan komplikasi diabetes mellitu. Seorang perempuan berusia 49 tahun tinggal di Kota Samarinda. Menderita penyakit diabetes mellitus sejak 1 tahun yang lalu. Mengalami luka tanggal 24 April 2021 pada bagian kaki kiri disebabkan oleh gigitan serangga dari buah pisang yang semakin hari menimbulkan bengkak, nyeri dan kemerahan. Perawatan luka dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali. Perawatan pertama tanggal 29 April 2021 sampai dengan 17 Mei 2021 dengan durasi perawatan 3-5 hari sekali. Perawatan pertama 29/04/21, kedua 01/05/21, ketiga 05/05/21, keempat 08/05/21, kelima 12/05/21 dan keenam 17/05/21. Kondisi luka saat perawatan terakhir jaringan granulasi 100%, sudah setinggi kulit yang sehat dan mulai berubah warna menjadi merah muda, tidak ada jaringan hitam, kuning ataupun putih (slough). Klien diberikan edukasi untuk menjaga agar jaringan granulasi tidak mengalami luka lagi, seperti luka gesekan atau luka tekan.
